Officers Crackdown On Speeding Motorists

Twenty-seven drivers were stopped by Northamptonshire Police in one afternoon after being caught speeding as part of the Force's on-going campaign to improve road safety across the county.

Incidents of note between Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 May.

At approx. 00.45hrs on Wednesday 22 May unknown persons gained entry to and searched a vehicle parked outside a residential property on York Road, Wollaston. Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information regarding a burglary at a business situated within The Woodyard complex where unknown perpetrators have accessed the rear of premises and have damaged storage units and doors in the process of the attempt.

Between 05.09hrs and 05.15hrs on Tuesday 19 March a vehicle parked on Roses Close, Wollaston was entered via unknown means and property taken from within. Bank cards were subsequently used at two cash machines.
