Three men have been charged with conspiracy to steal over a series of illegal sheep butchery offences across Northamptonshire this summer.
Robert Iordan, aged 23, Florin Nutu, aged 35, and Voirel Manu, aged 38, all from Birmingham, are charged with conspiracy to steal in relation to the slaughter and illegal butchery of sheep and lambs between June 22, 2019, and October 7, 2019.

Crime and Policing Update for Wollaston and Grendon Incidents of note between Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 August.
Between 22.00hrs on Wednesday 21 August and 14.00hrs on Thursday 22 August, the metal door of a shed on Manor Road, Grendon was bent open and electrical garden tools stolen from within.

Trading Standards have recently circulated information on the following phone scam.
The scam involves fraudsters taking a phone contract out in your name and having it delivered to your home.
If the criminals fail to intercept the delivery in the street, they often pose as a courier and try to collect the package claiming it was delivered by mistake.

Northamptonshire Police is appealing for anyone with information about the ownership of a mare and foal found on the Embankment this morning to get in touch.
The pair were located on the Embankment at around 8am today, Monday, August 12, before making their way onto a neighbouring football field.
