Operation Snap has been set up to help keep our county's roads as safe as possible.
It allows members of the public to report driving offences in the Northamptonshire area by filling out a form and uploading video evidence they have captured.

Submitted footage and reports are then examined by roads policing officers and can be used to take action against drivers found to be breaking the law.

Police are reminding the public to be vigilant following two recent HMRC scams reported to us by local residents

On Thursday 10th October an email was received purporting to be from HMRC – titled Self Assessment – Tax Recalculation – GOV.UK- ref no. This stated a refund was due and providing a link to click to input bank details.

News Release - Three Men Charged Over Operation Stock Illegal Sheep Butchery Offences

Three men have been charged with conspiracy to steal over a series of illegal sheep butchery offences across Northamptonshire this summer.

Robert Iordan, aged 23, Florin Nutu, aged 35, and Voirel Manu, aged 38, all from Birmingham, are charged with conspiracy to steal in relation to the slaughter and illegal butchery of sheep and lambs between June 22, 2019, and October 7, 2019.

Crime and Policing Update for Wollaston and Grendon Incidents of note between Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 August.

Between 22.00hrs on Wednesday 21 August and 14.00hrs on Thursday 22 August, the metal door of a shed on Manor Road, Grendon was bent open and electrical garden tools stolen from within.

The scam involves fraudsters taking a phone contract out in your name and having it delivered to your home.

Travelling on our railway network this week here's a little number to jot down in the back of your diary or on the notes section of your phone it's important and you may need to text it at some point if your on the train.
