Between 17.00hrs on Thursday 28 November and 17.00hrs on Tuesday 3 December, unknown person(s) have broken into 2 sheds on residential premises on Chequers Lane, Grendon and stolen items from within.

Northamptonshire County Council is now consulting on its draft Budget for 2020/21. The draft budget agreed by Cabinet on 12th November 2019 is likely to be the County Council's final budget and lays the foundations for the transition to two new unitary authorities from April 2021. This draft budget continues the work of last year to stabilize the County Council's finances.

Incidents of note between Thursday 31 October and Sunday 3 November.

Between 12.15hrs and 15.15hrs on Thursday 31 October, unknown persons(s) have entered a vehicle parked on Grendon Road, Wollaston whilst roadworks were being carried out and stolen items from within.

At 15.00hrs on Thursday 31 October a person was seen opening the door of a van parked on Main Road, Grendon and then running off.

Operation Snap has been set up to help keep our county's roads as safe as possible.
It allows members of the public to report driving offences in the Northamptonshire area by filling out a form and uploading video evidence they have captured.

On Thursday 10th October an email was received purporting to be from HMRC – titled Self Assessment – Tax Recalculation – GOV.UK- ref no. This stated a refund was due and providing a link to click to input bank details.

Three men have been charged with conspiracy to steal over a series of illegal sheep butchery offences across Northamptonshire this summer.

Robert Iordan, aged 23, Florin Nutu, aged 35, and Voirel Manu, aged 38, all from Birmingham, are charged with conspiracy to steal in relation to the slaughter and illegal butchery of sheep and lambs between June 22, 2019, and October 7, 2019.
